The problem starts when the intended user is a customer, because they need an account on a platform they may not have, on a page that is not yours, with no route into your calendar and no record of the conversation that you own.
What a custom GPT is
A custom GPT is a configured assistant with your files attached, hosted inside ChatGPT. Setup is fast, the underlying model is excellent, and for personal or internal use it is hard to beat on effort-to-value.
It is designed as a way to package a workflow for people who are already ChatGPT users, which is the assumption everything below turns on.
Where we're different

- A public page at your own handle and a one-line embed that runs only on the domains you allow. Nobody needs an account anywhere to ask a question.

- Real Google Calendar free/busy, a held slot, confirmation emails both ways. A custom GPT has no route to your availability.
- The lead is a record you own
- Name, need and contact details captured on a deterministic path and written to your account, plus a ticket with the full transcript when someone asks for a human. Conversations inside someone else's product are not yours to keep.
- You find out what it could not answer
- Every fumbled question is logged and grouped by topic. There is no equivalent feedback loop when the conversation happens on a platform you do not control.

- You are talking to a frontier model with a large context window and no retrieval floor deciding whether to answer. For open-ended reasoning over your documents, that is often a better experience than a grounded assistant that refuses.
- Cost, for internal use
- If you already pay for ChatGPT, a custom GPT costs nothing extra. We are a separate subscription doing a different job.

Use a custom GPT for yourself: searching your own documents, drafting, thinking. It is very good at that and it is free if you already subscribe.

What happens around the model. Ours is retrieval-grounded against your account's documents with a score floor that produces a refusal instead of a guess, keeps a receipt for each answer, and has a route into your calendar and your lead records. The model is the least differentiated part of either product.
